In a global context where the demand for medicines is high and quality expectations are strict, the pharmaceutical industry in El Salvador faces the challenge of adapting and innovating its processes to improve competitiveness and meet international standards. Lean manufacturing has proven to be an effective tool for optimizing operations and reducing costs across various industries, and today it positions itself as a transformative strategy in the pharmaceutical production sector. This approach, which prioritizes waste reduction and continuous improvement, offers companies in El Salvador an opportunity to not only maximize their efficiency but also to elevate the quality and safety of their medicines, thereby consolidating their position in both local and foreign markets.
